I believe that you can tell a lot about a person by the music that they listen to. And you can tell a lot about the changes in a person by looking at the changes in their musical tastes. So, here are my lists of my favourite albums/CDs from the 1970s - 2000s. These are the recordings that have moved and/or comforted me at various times of my life. The albums/CDs are arranged by year of original release, which is not always when they entered my life:
